At this workshop you will learn how to design and sculpt your very own dog out of foam clay.
No sculpting experience required! All materials will be provided including sculpting tools and coloured clay. Foam clay is an excellent air dry and mess free clay that is soft and easy to manipulate for little hands. It has been used extensively in the cosplay world, and it is praised for its very light weight and ease of use. It comes in a large array of colours and is fun for everyone. By squeezing, squishing and pulling the clay we will experiment with different shapes, forms and textures.
Everyone will be encouraged to create a dog based on their own pet or from their imagination. Each child will leave with a fun and unique dog of their very own.

Time: 10:30am Cost: General Admission Applies ($5 for ages 5+, free for ages under 5) For children (family members are encouraged to help little ones with their project) No pre-registration required. Spots are limited and on a first-come basis.
Artist Bio:
My name is Courtney and I am a self-taught artist based in Kingston and a Mom of two. In 2021 I started a small business selling handmade jewelry and art including wood burning, and mixed media creations. My hobbies include crafting, painting and baking. I also love reading and studying nature and poetry. I spend a lot of time researching different animals and plants, my favourites being insects and fungi. Much of my art is inspired by my love of nature. I enjoy studying the shapes and textures of plants and I spend a lot of time experimenting with unique mediums to get different results. I love to create sculptures of unusual mushrooms and magical creatures.
