Artist Bio:
Hi there! My name is Katherine Stanford and I’m from Kingston, ON. My artistic journey began early, as I was fortunate enough to grow up within a creative family, who supported my interests. At around six years old, I taught myself to sew and crochet. As the years went by, I explored various other textile arts and crafts but when I tried macramé, I fell in love! Every project is a challenging puzzle, a series of knots that link to create a useful piece of art. So, I invite you to join me and let’s enjoy learning about macramé together.
