Significant Weather Event Remains in Effect as of February 13th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

  • The declaration of a Significant Weather Event is still in place. Yesterday’s event has ended but we are expecting freezing conditions overnight and additional snow accumulation of 25-35 cm over the next 72 hours.
  • Crews are continuing to maintain roads in an effort to keep all roads clear and passable. Road conditions within Greater Napanee vary from fair to poor at times.
  • Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution. Sidewalks normally maintained may be snow and ice covered. Pedestrians are encouraged to be mindful of these conditions while walking.
  • Please refrain from on street parking as much as possible to allow municipal crews to remove the snow.
  • Please be patient and cautious as snow removal operations will be ongoing over the next several days.

The Town of Greater Napanee is inviting residents and community stakeholder groups to share their preferences on the types of municipal information they would like to receive and their preferred methods of communication.

Mailing of Tax Bills & Bag Tags

Please note that individuals who are on regular instalments or pre-authorized instalments will have their tax bills and bag tags (if applicable) mailed on Friday, January 31st, 2025.

Individuals who are on monthly pre-authorized instalments or payment through their mortgage will have their bag tags mailed no later than Friday, February 7th, 2025.

We kindly ask that residents allow a reasonable amount of time for Canada Post to deliver these packages and refrain from contacting the Town right away as tax bills and bag tags may arrive over several days.
